Anonymised Student Accounts

The simplest way to create student accounts in ACHIEVE is for students to sign up using their email address. The benefit of this approach is that students control their account and can carry out password resets using their email address. For further information on the data that is stored in ACHIEVE, please read our Privacy Policy.

The Anomymised Student Accounts feature is an alternative way of creating student accounts which does not require student names or email addresses. This feature supports schools who have not undertaken a Data Protection Impact Assessment and enables students to use the full range of ACHIEVE tools without supplying personal information.

Step 1

Enter the forename and surname of each student for whom you wish to create an ACHIEVE account. For greater anonymity, you may wish to use just the initials of the student's forename and surname.

Step 2

A user name and password will be created for each student. Use the Export function to generate a spreadsheet with names and login details for your own records.

Step 3

Share user names and passwords with your students along with the link to the ACHIEVE website.

Password reset and deleting accounts

The Anonymised Student Accounts page allows teachers to reset passwords or delete accounts for any student accounts linked to the school that have been created as anonymous accounts.
