ACHIEVE automatically awards badges to students for reaching key milestones in their courses. These badges are designed to recognise student achievements and provide motivation for students to do well.
When are badges awarded?
Badges are automatically awarded for various accomplishments, including:
- Reaching a certain number of correctly answered questions
- Achieving specific streak lengths
- Passing assessments with 100% score
- Reaching a certain number of green self-evaluated concepts
How are badges displayed?
When a student is awarded a badge:
- It appears in a pop-up window when they next access ACHIEVE
- It is displayed in the student's recent activity
- It is added to the student's Badges page
Viewing student badges (for teachers)
As a teacher, you can view the badges your students have earned in two ways:
- Select Award Badges from the Classes menu, and click the Course Badges button beside the student's name
- Select Students Assessments from the Analysis menu, choose a student, and then click the Badges button on the student's Assess home page
